Renato - take it easy. People are here to help. By posting the same thread multiple times, you're NOT guaranted a faster response. By pissing someone off who's trying to help, you're not guaranteed any help at all.
As Chris pointed out, there have not been any issues since 4.6 or whatever version you started from. Now, if you could provide more details as to what exactly is happening in your environment then maybe some people might try and help you out.

Sanjay

PS - read also the terms of conditions in case you haven't regarding being offensive on the forums. I'm pretty sure that if you continue like this, more than likely you wouldn't get any help at all, additionally you might not even get any posts on the forum. May I also use this opportunity to remind you that it is NOT Chris's job to moderate posts (or for that matter anyone). We ALL volunteer our time to this project and it is staffed/managed by volunteers - so think before you make statements like it's Chris's job to do this or that.

My impression has been that there are far fewer installation-related posts in the forums than there were prior to the 4.6.x timeframe.  The installation wizard seem to be doing a great job for most.

why so many people are getting this strange situation.

Can't really say, other than inexperience, inability to manage IIS and SQL as well as ASP.NET and DNN or maybe they just don't pay attention to directions.  I have had far fewer issues with later versions, and really haven't had any problems with upgrades or new installs in quite some time.  It may be because I have been using DNN since the 2.x versions, or it may be that the installs are on servers I control or more expensive (and reliable) hosts.  There are so many variables to an installation it's unlikely all of them are the same problem, even if they display the same result.

Unfortunately I have lost another client because of this situation.

"Another client"?  You've lost multiple clients because you can't get DNN installed?  Seems that paid support would be a good option in your case.

If you don´t want to continue filtering the messages that could achieve someone else with the same troubles ... why dont you just quit ?

I feel very sorry for you, because you posted 2 Replies that also did not helped me at NOTHING. You wasted a very precious SPACE.

Ouch!  Man, it sucks to be you now.  How likely is it that any volunteer is going to help you with a problem when you let your frustrations leak into your posts like that?

Start a new thread.  Post your exact problem, with your hardware/software/host configuration and all the steps you took in the order you took them.  Like I said, I'm not sure all the similar posts have similar causes, but it would be interesting to try and diagnose where things are going wrong.  Just don't post when you're frustrated or you may lose the help.

Hi all,

I have finally found the answer.

After version 4.6.2 until now 4.8.4 the development.config has the cookies disables and so the web site never runs.

I was using this method since version 3.0.13 because I am a developer, and really changed many things and corrected some parts of the code for many reasons.

The faster Solution was copy and rename the release.config to web.config and everything runs fine for the installation.
Even using the App_Data/database.mdf already available.

This case is closed !!

Best regards to all,
Renato
