For those tracking this thread, Bill was able to install my module and was able to retrieve all the settings with the existing code.  It still doesn't work like that on my local install, however.

I am still in the dark as to why this is happening.  Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi Ryno

I am having the same problem. I am using a Visual Studio 2005 on a vista machine and developing localy with side by side assemblies. I am using DNN 4.8.4 version. Have you solved this problem?

No...I have not.

I am also using VS 2005 on a Vista Ultimate machine.

I just uploaded my module to the production server to test it....works great.  Has no problem retrieving the setting.

The problem is my local development environment with Vista.  For some reason it will allow retrieval of some settings from the TabModuleSettings hash table and not others????

Does anybody know of a fix for Vista/VS 2005 that addresses this issue?

I can't believe that Vista is the problem, particularly since when I tried to reproduce your problem, I too was running under Vista (Business) and IIS 7.  Although my development system is using VS 2008 rather than 2005, I can't see that that would make any difference either.
