Good morning Jan,

I looked at the page source and it showed:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
I used the John Mitchel approach to set the ASCX to:

!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC ""-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"" ""http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd

It did not solve my problem - I still get the misalignment

Here it is with:DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional  - but in IE7 (the last image was with FF3)  IE7 seems to magnify the problem.

The HOME menu is active and the REWARDS NEWS menu is selected via mouse (hover).  Of course the idea is to have the seperator to be centered with the button states.

Does anyone have an some documentation of the menu box-model?  There has to be something missing here...
