I had the same problem.

I read on another forum to change this line in the web.config



ie set true to false. For some reason it got me past the neverending installing database scripts message.

It may have got you past the script page but did it allow the database to installed and are you able to compile the DNN without errors.

Hi guys,

I have now posted a possible solution to this problem. Unfortunately I didn't find this topic in the forum until I created a newer one myself.

I had this problem while running the code for 4.9.2 in FireFox; however, when I switched to IE it worked fine.  The linked post above this one talks about javascript errors that cause the page not to get sent back to the server, that seemed to be the problem.  I think if you play with javascript settings you can get it to work.
