Hello,
I made a post back in january about a beta version of our event management system is beeing released. Today I would like to announce that the final version has been released last week and is available for use.

The event management system is called ClickOnEvent.com. It is dedicated to event management and organization. Everyone can create an account, become an organizer and can publish all kinds of events. Events can have fees, transfers, accommodations, additional services, different payment methodts (including PayPal), customizable registration procedure and much more. An organizer can create his own custom portal and even a portal for each of his events. ClickOnEvent.com has  full support for multilanguages. Not only static text is translated (using standard DNN localization) but also dynamic content and tab names.

ClickOnEvent.com is based on a dotnetnuke portal. We developed aroud 20 extra modules which connect to each other and provide the functionality nedded for event management and oragnization. The DNN core has not been modifyed or tuched which means the portal is still upgradable for new releases DNN. We extended the standard DNN localization and included the localization of dynamic content (tabs included). ClickOnEvent.com is not a module you can download. It is an online application based on DNN.

We would like to thank DNN team and the communty for creating and improving DNN. By using DNN as a core for our application we were able to better focus on the functionalities of event management.

Come and visit www.clickonevent.com. Do leave a feedback. Thank you!

*** moderator note***

This post was moved from the announcements forum as it was not clear if clickonevent was a product or a site showcase, so I applied this rule from the announcements forum guidelines:

"This forum is for posting about Complete DotNetNuke Stuff... not about stuff that was built with DotNetNuke.  If you have a site that you've built and believe others would appreciate, please feel free to submit it as a candidate for our DNN showcase.  However, we would ask that everyone understand that we could not possibly allow the 000's of site builders who implement DNN sites to post here and have this forum retain any value."

It depends what you mean under "product". If a product has to be one module or one skin you can download than ClickOnEvent.com is not a product. If a product is something that has been developed for dnn and does not have to be downloadable than ClickOnEvent.com is indeed a product.

It is hard to say where to put it. ClickOnEvent.com defenatly does not fit in this line: "...site builders who implement DNN sites... " since ClickOnEvent.com is not a regular DNN portal with regular DNN modules.

I am sure you will know for the best where this post belongs to. I trust your judgement so put it where you think is right.
