Brandon - you mention "the proper configuration" is this having .NET 3.5 installed on the machine, website converted to .NET 3.5 and the AjaxToolKit.dll file copied to the BIN directory?  Have I missed anything?

does Ajaxtoolkit use system.web.extensions vesion 3.5? I had some trouble with this when developing modules for DNN in .NET 3.5.

Hi B471Code3,

While you do outline the proper configuration, I believe I was referring to the markup-level details.  Having incorrectly nested DIVs or the wrong class attribute can cause some of the toolkit extenders to not work properly.

When I've been faced with this situation in the past, I've had to go so far as to start with the EXACT markup from the sample and modify from there.  Does a cut-and-paste job from the sample into your module perform as expected?  Also, is there an onclick attribute on your popup activator?  You can check this using the IE dev toolbar or a Firefox addon.

Hi John,

There is an AjaxToolkit distribution for both .NET 2.0 and 3.5.  If you're running .NET 3.5, I strongly suggest downloading and using the 3.5-specific AjaxToolkit assemblies.  You will need to update your web.config to use the new assemblies.

I have been attempting to get this calender extension to work for ever. For that matter no matter what I do no AJAX stuff works for me.  I have copied all the DLL to the bin folder and changed the web site to .net 3.5 and that compiled ok,  I checked the web config file and found that it already was set for 3.5.0.0   I have a simple module that has two dates StartPosting and StopPosting news events.   When I click on them the calendar is suppose to pup up, but it does not, If I use the EditMask to say put the dat in 99/99/9999 it does not put the  __/__/____ mask on when the text box gets focus either.   I am using  a simple user control with C$ code behind like all my modules.  The module installed cleanly and has no warnings when the page loads.  I am on DNN 4.5.1 if that helps.
