Just trying to login using a string.  This is a misformed string. The username appears in the login textbox but the password does not...

Anyone have a suggestion(s) on how to succesfully pass username and password along to the dnn login form?

Thanks

Michael Washington has an example that may help you:

Michael has a cool utility for logins across portals.  The module has an interesting feature, creating a new user account in the second portal.

My needs are more basic.  How to submit the username and password in a string which orignates from anywhere.  I haven't found any references in the forums about such a task.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well...  That's the point.  He gives you an example of how a work around can be done.  But due to the level of security risk involved, If what you are looking for is available, it is only because it hasn't yet been discovered and blocked by the core team.  What your asking nearly defeats the purpose of a login form.
