Brainstorming a new site here. I want to deliver content to users based on their choice of topic (not their language). For instance in a manner similar to yelp.com the user could select their city and from then on (when logged in) they will see content based on that choice. So my thoughts are to use ML to do this substituting location/topic for language. Any ideas or feedback from you guys (Sebastian!) would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Nick

Nick

Nick,

I don't think this is a good idea, since localization is bound to ASP.Net settings. If the content you are going to present is bundled on a single page ("Local Services"), you might use an advanced module which can respond on a a selector (please contact me for an example at leupold (at) gamma concept.de), otherwise you will need to have created a setting skin object and a module being able to respond on this. PLease be more specific about your needs.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
