Hello - First off let me say that I'm new so I hoping I'm doing this correctly. I am having the problem that is being discussed here (timeout causes error in post and forum). Here is the message I get:

I understand and realize that the issue will be fixed in the next release/update of the forum module, but is there a way I can delete the post that caused this error? Thanks in advance.

Matthias- Thanks for your prompt response and I apologize if I wasn't clear in my previous post. I can post in the forum without issue however I still have a thread that shows as posted by anonymous that I am not able to delete. This thread also contains some main forum controls (page, new thread, display, etc). I would like to know if it is possible to delete this thread either in the DB or the file manager in an attempt to resolve my display issue. I have performed the steps you advised and I still have the thread that I am NOT able to delete. I have also attempted to upgrade/reinstall the Forum module...still same issue. Is there a way to delete said thread, do I have to wait until the next release or do I just have to live with it? Thanks in advance.
