Hi, I would like to customize user egistration. I want to eforce users of my portal, that they submit information of their job during the registration. Anybody did it before? Does anybody know where such solution is described?

you can do that with a custom profile property. Check "required", so that they must enter a value. Peter

rypki,

I agree with Peter's statement above for something that simple a custom profile property should work well and can be requires so that the user can't proceed through registration without filling it in.  I thought I would add an additional comment for any that are looking for more control over the registration process, questions and behavior that I think the Dynamic Registration module by Data Springs offers a lot of additional capabilities.  If you find you need to fine tune your control, questions and properties you might look into it.

Good Luck,
