Looking forward to a fix on this...

The problem comes from a number of CSS styles that contain this code:

display:table-cell;

I was able to simply remove this line of CSS whereever it occurred, and the problem seems to be resolved.

Anyone know why it was included in the first place?  Surely there was a good reason.

Hi. Just removing display:table-cell doesn't work for me as the icons no longer fit in the table cell and appear cut off.

I have seen the current fix in the bug tracker which is this:

Add: a{display:block; float:left;} to the forum's Default.css and add this to the HTML:

.

But it doesn't say which ascx file to add the HTML to and I can't find it. Anyone know how I add this html line?

Since lots of peep using Firefox now, is fairly major issue...

There is another thread in this forum regarding this problem which explains exactly how to solve this simply by altering a couple of lines of css for each icon. You can then choose whether you want to align the icons horizontally left or right. However, the icons will not display horizontally center. Can't recall the css but do a search for Firefox within this forum and I'm sure you'll find it.

Luckily for me, align right is perfect for my design.

Discussion seems to have stopped on this and I noticed the bug tracker thing says it's fixed as of 9/14/08...so...how do I get the fixed version? There is no "update" next to the core forums module in my DNN install and I can't find any other info about this.

I'm getting ready to roll to a client and this issue is a sticking point with them.

Any help is greatly appriciated.
