Try removing all instances of Gallery and reinstalling.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?

Hi Hoologannes,

Tried it uninstall, fresh install, same way as my first working environment - could not reproduce a workable environment. How can I post this into into Gemini?

Thanks a lot,

Igor Mathez

Cheers..

Hooligannes,

I am not sure why it is fdoing an insert statement - it whould first do a select to get the info then an insert once the record(s) has(ve) been selected?

thanks a gain,

Cheers,

Igor

The module has its own 'Pre-configuration'. What this does is set defaults for module settings so people can add the module and start using it immediately. (As before you would have to configure it then use it). If the module is showing this error that means the configuration exists and for some reason something is not populated in it throwing the error. I have only seen this on sites where the module exists already and an upgrade happend of the module. Even in those cases it is rare. If you have deleted the module, went to another page, then cameback and saw no error then re-added it should work. If it does not, I am not sure what is going on and don't have a solution for you.

I am getting the same error message.  When running SQL Profiler, the error ocurrs when the following statement is run:

exec dbo.AddModuleSetting @ModuleId = 0, @SettingName = N'Provider', @SettingValue = N''

The error is ocurring because a constraint states that a moduleid has to exist in the modules table for an entry to be created in the modulesettings table.  There is no module 0.  Why is the gallery doing an insert for Provider on module 0?
