Hello

New to DotNetNuke,

I have downloaded the software from the site,  But it appears I need

Visual Studio 2005 to run it.

Is 2005 availible somewhere ?  I see 2008 listed many places on the web.

I am one person and will be developeing a website that is mostly a user forum site.  Can I use the standard version or do I need Pro to do my developement.

Will Visual Studio 2008 work ?

Is there any other software I need to run DotnetNuke ?

Thank for any assistance

You don't need any version of Visual Studio to actually run it but it would be handy to have VS 2005 or VS 2008 if you plan to develop your own modules. I suggest visiting Mitchel Sellers site for an up-to-date installation tutorial. http://www.mitchelsellers.com/Blogs/tabid/54/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/220/DotNetNuke-484--InstallUpgrade-Instructions.aspx
