Hi,

I have just installed DNN 4.8.  Now I need to learn how to use it.  The problem is that I can only find books dealing with 4.0.  I can't even find books dealing with 4.5.  So my question is in two parts.  First, what are some good learning resources for DNN 4.8?  Second, would a good book that dealt with 4.0 be of any benefit in learning to use 4.8?

Thanks,

Doug

A fair amount of what's in a book for 4.0 should still be relevant for 4.8. There have been some changes along the way but I've always found the best way to learn anything is to just try it. Of course I only try it after I've backed up the database and files of my development site so that I can restore everything if it goes sideways. Also the forums is a great place to ask questions. That's where you'll get the most up to date information.
