Hello,

This is a continuation of another topic i posted earlier, because it got a bit clutherd and started to move in a diffent direction i decided to make a new thread.

The problem is that my website no longer works after moving it from local to a server. I'm getting Security errors.

Parser Error Message: Request for the permission of type 'System.Web.AspNetHostingPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed. (\\NLAMSWEB02WebHosting\RACKTIME\catchyourtalent.com\wwwroot\web.config line 66)

Someone said it probably had to do with the trust levels and the the hosting provider could change it in machine.config.

I just got of the phone with my hosting provider and he asked weather he needed to install the ASP SDK on the server to be able to adjust these settings.

I have very little experience with Hosting servers and was actually a bit suprised by the question of my hosting provider, but does anyone know what to do here?.  Is there a link to setting up a server for DNN in general so i can look it through myself. Appreciate any help your can give me .\

Your initial suspicion and/or guideance about this being a hosting issue looks to be correct.  Your hosting provider is running under medium (or lower) permissions.  I do not know the specific steps that you need to ask your host to go through to accomodate your needs, so hopefully someone will weigh in here.  Typically, a web server can run a DNN site right out of the gate, so they must have locked down the security and/or messed up the server configuration.
