I've gotten the idea from some others around here that the Forum project has stalled (or been abandoned?).  I'm actually running some manually patched versions that I compiled myself, since there seems to be no sign of when official bugfix releases will come out.

By the way, a workaround for this issue is to turn off the toolbar icons for the forum.  To do this, go to Admin->General Settings->Forum User Interface, and then uncheck "Enable Toolbar Icons."

This will give you text links in place of the toolbar icons.  I actually prefer this as I always forget which icon is which.  With text links I don't have to hover over the icon and wait for the tooltip to appear.

Thank you for your answer Joshua, it's certainly the best way for now, and i encounter the same problem with icons... so be it

Have a good day
