I have a system based on Windows 2003 SP1 with SQL 2005 and IIS 6.0
After installing DNN 4.1 and running setup I can see de default home page. To
log in to the site as Admin or Host I clicked on Login(Right side on the page). After that I see only
an error page as

"The Page Cannot Find (HTTP Error 404 - File or directory notfound .Internet Information Services (IIS)".

The same story is also if I click on Home of Register button on the main page of the site
What I am doing wrong ??

Nobody knows that ?? I can`t belive that !!!! This is the home site of such good developers and nobody know that or has such problem yet

I also see the next line in the log file of IIS:

GET /dotnetnuke/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx - 80 - 127.0.0.1 Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.2;+SV1;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322;+.NET+CLR+2.0.50727) 404 3

Should I have a directory /Home/tabid/36 in my Dotnetnuke map ?? So yes why did not creat the setup process this map for my site?

I have similar error in my system based on Windows XP SP2 and IIS 5.1 (for MyWebSite); And  SQL 2005 on a server based on W2K(for Database).


After installing DNN 4.0.2 and running setup I can see de default home page. To
log in to the site as Admin or Host I clicked on Login(Right side on the page). After that, I see only
a message "An error has occurred." in every module contained in the page.  Before I tested with SQL Express on local machine and run succesfully.

What I am doing wrong ??
