This was originally posted in the Programming in VS2003 by mistake.  It should have been in this forum.

I want to make some modifications to the feedback module to allow anonymous submission of feedback (requested by the director).  Other modifications customized to the page on which they appear.

I believe these mods are going to need to be made in the feedback.ascx.vb code behind source.  The problem I am having is that even though I have installed the feedback module I can NOT find the .vb file anywhere.  I installed from the 4.8.3 source zip download.

Thanks much,

Clyde

source package of DNN does not include module source code. Download module source from the project's download page, accessible from the project's microsite. You find a list of all projects hidden on the left hand side of the "Forge", see icon above.

Great, thanks for the quick response.  I am in the process of downloading it now.  I am new to dnn and am in the process of converting our Rainbow Portals to DNN.

I sure get quicker and better responses here.

I have not found out how to mark replies as the answer yet.

Thanks again,

Clyde

You can download the DNN Feedback Source code directly from

http://www.codeplex.com/dnnfeedback/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=21029&
DownloadId=53088

after you donwload the feedback source code extract the sub folder \Resources
where you can find the file "Feedback.ascx.vb"

Here is a very useful link on how to use the source package

http://www.aboutdnn.com/Blog/tabid/76/EntryID/5/Default.aspx

but now my problem is that even if i change the "Feedback.ascx.vb" its not showing changes

if i change in the ascx file i can see the module change but ...

the coding changes donot effect the module ??

I deleted the orginal folder "Feedback" from \DotNetNuke\DesktopModules

and then placed with the one with sourcecode.
