Michael,

I surly appreciate the code. This is what I was looking for days. Easy enough. It works fine. Thanks a lot.

After I successfully created a new user I need to make him log in. I used without problems following:

UserController.UserLogin(PortalID, objUser, PortalSettings.PortalName, GetIPAddress(), False)

But the Request.IsAuthenticated shows False until I refresh the page. I do not want to do it because I would lose information in my TextBoxes.

Is there any other way to get athenticated than using

Page.Response.Redirect(Page.Request.Url.ToString(), True) ?

If your code logs the user in, why do you care about "Request.IsAuthenticated"?

I have a wizard module with some input components and a “Next”  button there. In same stage of the wizard if the user is not registered I want to show him 2 basic registration/login input boxes (email & password – his user and other names will be email)  so when he clicks Next it would register and log him in automatically. If he registered before it will just log him in with those credentials. If he is already authenticated there will be no input boxes there just the Next button. So if he clicks Next the wizard will continue do the business and I would have all the input boxes text on the form. If I refresh the form in that step it returns the user to the first step. I just did not want to remember all the input and reload it. Does it make sense?

Yeah the only thing I can think of is to use the redirect but pass a parameter which can tell the page which wizard step to start on.
