All

I've just upgraded from 4.4.1 to 4.8.x.

becauseI can no longer login to any portal using Admin accounts. I have forgotten the Host username and password (is the username dnnadmin?). If I knew that I could trust the login screen I could probably guess what I set it to, but in the current state where no users can login I can't do that. I have a feeling that wouldn't work anyway because, during the upgrade, I forgot to save the newly modified web.config prior to visiting the site to start the automated upgrade sequence. I think this may have caused this issue? (the machine keys may be wrong??)

I re-edited the web.config. Put in the machine keys. Saved it this time too :) Restarted IIS on the server.. Tried to login. To no avail.

Does anyone know how I can get access to my portals again? I'm up the river without a paddle here :-(

Thanks in advance

Paul

Strangely, Restarting IIS a few times seemed to cure it.

Thanks
