I like the editor a lot.  The only issue I am having is that I don't want users to be able to browse the server at all.  I don't see it as needed for them.  I want the upload to go directly to their computer for them to upload their images etc to a default location and for them not to see the server at all.  I know that they probably can't do any damage in there I just don't think there is any need for them to see it at all.  I want my users to be able to add images so I don't want to get rid of the button totally.  Does anyone have any solutions for this?

Once you have the folder permissions set-up, they will only see the folders that they have access to after clicking "Browse Server".

I have a similar issue - that when I login as HOST, I can see all physical folders in the 'images' folder of the server when I 'browse' using the FCKeditor. However, someone else, logged in as an 'administrator' can only see a few folders when browsing to the same folder.

The server permissions for all sub-folders of portals/0/images/ is exactly the same, but the browse button returns far fewer folders for the 'admin' login. Why is this, and how do I let the 'admins' see ALL SUB-FOLDERS?

did you try a recursive folder sync on Admin :: File Manager?

Besides: which version of DNN are you using?
