Hi all,

I am looking for a module that can create an A to Z list based on documents uploaded on my DNN portal. Through searching on the net, I have a found a module which creates an A-Z list for the portals' menu...this is basically an alphabetic sitemap. Its a very nice module and its free!. (if you want to find it here is a link to the module http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=10895 or search for Alphabetic Sitemap).

The module above does a great job, and I've been thinking whether it would be possible to configure it to read documents instead of the menu links...I am a noob on creating modules so any advice here would be greatly appreciated. (the source code costs only $9.99 ;-).

Many thanks.

My guess would be that a custom module could be developed for document management with a similar organization structure for a few hours of development.

If you would like, drop me an e-mail at msellers@iowacomputergurus.com and we can discuss.

Take a look at SGSV (SimpleGridSelectedView) at Tressleworks.com.

You can write any SQL you want against your database and push out the results as a report. List the portals, the users, the documents, whatever you want. And lotsa nice config control.
