I just upgraded a running site from 4.4.0 to 4.8.4.

The upgrade went fine with no errors. Now I cannot use the filemanager and linked files and documents can only be seen when logged in as admin or host.  When logged in as host or admin, I get an error when I try to navigate the file manger. I would post the error, but it is blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You get an error, but it is blank?

Can you check the event viewer/log viewer to see if there is any detailed info in there about the error?

The file manager only showed the files in the portal root. It did show the folders.

I had my host reset the permissions on the entire domain, I resynced the files to the database using the file manager, and all is working!

I have no idea how the permissions got changed. It may be a good rule of thumb to reset the permissions after an upgrade.

Thanks!

Barney
