Hi

Got an email from a site visitor that they received a v13wstat3 MAC error so I dug a little deeper and found a spike in page load exceptions occurred yesterday. Nothing has changed in the last few days with the dnn app that would cause this, visitor usage has been consistent, asp.net 2.0 has not been changed, errors occur on various pages (more so on the calendar pages which take a little longer to load usually), and it has been a long time since getting a v13wstat3 MAC error and Page Load Exceptions are generally minimal (2-4 a day - 8000 page views). Here are my questions:

  1. Does this error occur when the visitor's browser times out on a page load? "DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: The client disconnected..."
  2. This error seems to be caused by a number of things but when happening along side these client disconnected errors, am I correct in thinking that this is opperator error in that the user is clicking on links or buttons trying to execute an action before the page has entirely loaded?  "DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Validation of v13wstat3 MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster."

Basically, I am thinking that the root of these errors is due to poor page load speeds and just looking for confirmation on my diagnosis before I set out on a path to remedy it. Let me know if I am totally wrong though. Also, is there some resource out there that details all the errors DNNers run into pretty regularly?

Thanks!
Mike
