Howdy,

I am having a little issue with the blog module. I installed it and set it up and everything was fine. Somewhere along the line the "new blog" module got deleted. All of the other blog elements stayed though. The only way I could think to get the "new blog" module back was to reinstall the blog module. This brought back all of the blog elements and they all had no problem reassociating themselves with the articles in the database....Except for the "new blog" module.

It only gives me the choice to "create my blog". This doesn't help me because I need it to tap into the blog that is already created. I need it to give me the option to "create new entry" for the existing blog.

Can anyone tell me how to make the connection?

Newblog isn't actually the newblog it was the version of the blog that existed as a replacement for the blog that used to be part of the forums module.

If you were using newblog and then installed the latest version of the blog module (3.20.1 I think) then the information that you had should have been brought over.  You can then delete the newblog as you don't really need it anymore.

I have upgrade to version 4.4.1 of DNN over the weekend but my NewBlog entries did not port to the Blog module.  I was running version 3.01.18 of the NewBlog.  I just found this post and I wonder if there is a way for me to tweak something to get the entries to port or am I just screwed?
