Hi,

This is a simple question. I would like to change the link of the language flag.

I have 2 portals

www.myportal.com (In english)

www.monportail.com (In french)

I would likethat if the user click on the french flag (canada flag) , i will be redirected to the french portal and if he click on the english flag (usa flag) he will be redirected to the english portal.

I dont wanna use alternate module or multilanguages modules or browser redirection. Is this possible?

Hello Tonkadan,

I would use a simple Text/HTML module, configure it to not show its container nor title and include within its contents the following text:

<div style="text-align: center">
<a href="http://www.monportal.com"><img alt="French (Canada)" border="0" src="/images/Flags/fr-CA.gif" /></a>
<a href="http://www.myportal.com"><img alt="English (USA)" border="0" src="/images/Flags/en-US.gif" /></a>
<br />
</div>

Then, you may even modify your skin to be able to place that module wherever you want to.

Of course, I would disable the language selector on both portals or just disable the language that does not correspond to each one. I would also disable the automatic browser language detection for both portals.

HTH.

Saludos,

Alejandro.
