how can i localize the title of a module? i have 2 enabled language on my dnn host. i added an announcement module to a page. i want this module to have localized title on each different page. how can i do that?

currently, this works by using multilingual modules like free MLAnnouncements (www.apollo-software.nl) or Magic Content (see in Forge, using icon above).

If you want to do your own heavily lifting, try doing something like this in your module's Page_Init method: protected void Page_Init(object sender, EventArgs e) { this.ModuleConfiguration.ModuleTitle = "Whatever you want your module title to be"; } You can use Resource files to provide the strings with something like this: protected void Page_Init(object sender, EventArgs e) { this.ModuleConfiguration.ModuleTitle = Localization.GetString("ModuleTitle", Localization.GetResourceFile(this, "YourModule.ascx"); } then define in your resource files, "YourModule.ascx.[lang].resx", a name, "ModuleTitle.Text", with the language-specific value.

unfortunately yes, unless you are using DNN built in Language Specific Pages with dedicated module instances per language.
