When ever a new user registers, and email is sent to them. How do I change who the email comes from when a new user is registered or is added to a group? I can't find the setting under Admin or Host. any Ideas. The admin left and I am picking up pieces.

Thanks, I should have seen that.

You'll find the template under Admin >> Languages >> Language Editor

Here you can change most (maybe all) of the standard text in DNN and many of the modules for any of the languages - for admin areas, editing areas, warnings, email templates (eg. on registration, password reminders etc).

In the default file (\App_GlobalResources\GlobalResources.resx) and checking the language is the right one... you will find the email on registration to be either:

EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PRIVATE_BODY.Text
EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PRIVATE_SUBJECT.Text

EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PUBLIC_BODY.Text
EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PUBLIC_SUBJECT.Text

EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_VERIFIED_BODY.Text
EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_VERIFIED_SUBJECT.Text

Which one - depends on what you're user registration choice is.   Here you can use html to customise the look of your email, but bear in mind the html limitations for most email.
