Hi all,

I was wondering if it's possible to compile a DNN 4.8.2 32 bit running
system to a 2008 server 64 bit running system?

Are the DLL's compatible for bought systems? Or do I have do convert it?
Is there all source code (.vb) available to do an vonverting?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Cheers,
Irina

Irina,

I am running DNN 4.8.x on Vista 64 with no issues. My databases are on both Vista 64 and Windows 2003 server (32 bit) boxes.

Thanks for your answer Declan,

But do you run DNN as a 64 bit version on vista? I mean do you have the same
DNN Code on 2003 Server as 32bit and exactly the same DNN just copied to
Vista and it is running as 64 bit version?

I just download the code and run it. Exactly the same code base on both. No recompiles nothing different!

Thats a .NET issue. If you are running on a x64 system then .Net compiles for x64 ... which is nice
