Brad Hurlbert here:

I have two hosts for DNN - www.gate.com and www.ixwebhosting.com

Gate doesn't have the latest version, but they have auto install which makes it easy.  Since I wanted the latest version, I decided to try to use IXWebHosting for the host.

I tried the Starter Kit and got it working locally but when I compile and publish it to IX it doesn't work (Why doesn't this work?  Is there something about the configuration that I'm doing wrong.)  I have developed many sites on my PC and published them to a web host without a problem.

...So, I tried just doing the INSTALL.ZIP method.

I unzipped the package locally and FTP'd all the files to my sites root folder.  I then submitted a request to have IX give me the directory permissions needed.  They did that.  When I try to access the site, I get the "Internet Explorer Cannot Access This Page" response..

I'm trying to figure it out with IX, but that's slow and painful.  I would really like to get this figured out so if you have any suggestions please help...
