I found some DNN site can let users to subscribe news letters. I also found a news letter page in the admin page..

But how can I let user to subscribe it(Generally I think news letter subscriber & site user should be different roles)? Does anybody know?

I'm concerning about ths subscribers role also.

I don't want it to have user automatically registered as subscribers, I want to let user choose to subsribe also or no, maybe by providing a checkbox.

How can I do it?

please note the two options on roles:

- auto: users get automatically assigned on registration

- public: users can enter or leave the role by themselves, when entering services section of their user profile.

Subscribers is a demonstration for a public auto role, i.e. simply alter the role disabling auto and users need to join manually if they want to.
