Hi Ian,

I have uploaded the OpenSesame script to the site via the Godaddy.com file manager for the site and the files would be placed into  into www.easternvirtualairlines.org/Portal/0/OpenSesame.aspx and now what I get is this

There was an error processing your request. Additional details are in the server logs.
It seems that I might have to get Godaddy to reload the DNN and then rebuild the site from Scratch.
Or is there an other way that you know of to resolve this problem.
Thnaks Ian for your speady reply's on this one as it is driving me up the wall.

Hi Ian,

       I have uploaded the OpenSesame.aspx file to the root folder of the site and ran the Application now I get this error message.

Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Maybe I am getting Close I am running 4.8.0 of Dotnetnuke.

Hey again,

Do you have database access? I'm wondering if you can run a quick SQL statement this might be easier.

update dnn_portals --could also be named just "portals"
set logintabid = null
where portalid = 0

If you don't have database access - can you see the OpenSesame file in the file system? Is there a way that you can check file system permissions on it? It must be more difficult to troubleshoot issues of this nature in a shared hosting environment, but maybe another call to GoDaddy is in order. They may be able to give you any information that you can't come up with on your own.

Take care,

Ian
