hello,

i have installed dnn 4.8.4 source package, i was impressed with the available modules yet not all modules suit with my needs.

i just curious on how to make some customization on modules, since i am newbie in DNN, could some one give me some idea or suggestion,

what i want in my modules are:
1. images with data grid that can be sorting and paging (display in table).
2. select by category.
3. documents for download

are Text/HTML and Repository modules can do these?

i will go out for a books regarding complete custom modules, can someone suggest me one?

thanks in advance

hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the Information,

both modules are such requirements that i need, but is it possible to add and sync each other in one page?

i discovered that
1. UDT modules doesn't have a controller (selection purpose) but can defined custom column.
2. Repository modules capable to do a selection by category and paging unfortunately not for customization column.

or should i go for custom modules.

needs some help..
many thanks

miekun

selection by category is currently not supported by UDT (cause we are still waiting for a core framework solution), but unfortunately, there is no option of combining modules - except by creating your own module from the code. I suggest to have a look for a 3rd party module fitting your needs.
