I have a policy reference file and a policy file that pass P3P validation on my site. According to the validation, my site should allow cookies with browsers set on even the 'High' setting.

I can view my web site policy on IE7 through Page->Web page privacy policy...

I have added my site to Internet Options->Security->Trusted Sites

I have set my site to always allow at Internet Options->Privacy->Sites

I still get the privacy icon in the status bar listing various images or files on my site as restricted websites.

Refreshes change the files that appear in the list. Sometimes a refresh will clear the Privacy Report icon. The next refresh will bring it back...

Not only do I have a privacy policy that should allow everything, I have implicitly allowed everything by including my own web site as a Trusted Site and it still says I have a privacy problem.

How do I stop the Privacy Report icon from displaying?

I have never really paid too much attention to this before, but you would think that privacy being so important to so many people would have caused this 'feature' to at least somewhat work. Since the icon being there or not does not tell you if you can trust the sites privacy settings, it seems pretty useless to me. Especially if it changes randomly on ctrl-F5...

Any suggestions?
