- I'm doing some testing with webservice in DNN and i found a module called IWeb (http://www.adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/Misc/Dotnetnuke_Secure_AJAX_webservices.htm). Because i'm totally new with webservice and still i don't know what exactly IWeb doing when i call a webservice, just know that it can sercure webservice (input the user informations and IWeb will check it, so i can manage which type of user can use a webservice)
Can someone help me to understand clearly about IWeb and webservice in DNN. Thanks in advance!

You seem to have  agood understanding because that is all IWeb does. IWeb simply allows you to easily hook into the DotNetNuke membership API. Otherwise you are using normal web services.

What is it that you are trying to do?

- Michael Washington, thanks for your reply. As you said, when calling a webservice, we also pass user informations in it, and first, IWeb will contact with DNN membership to do validate. If the type of current user is not allow to call this webservice, return a message or something. Otherwise, run the webservice as normal. Please correct me. Thanks!

- What i'm trying to do is about sercure a webservice, ex: only registered users can call a webservice, or user A created a product, and only him can edit, delete that product using webservice.
