Hi All,

How to write a rule in Request Filter to redirect a request http://mywebsite.com/default.aspx?TabId=123 to http://mywebsite.com/Help.aspx

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mahesh

You can do this but all requests to your site will be redirect.

Because the request filter focues on where the request is comming from not what page it is comming to.

You can actually accomplish what you want by modifying the dnn core files to check for the page and then redirected it, but that defeats the purpose of getting someone else to do the work does it not?

I also read that the bug that change friendly url in postbacks is fixed in the next release 4.8.5, so I would just wait for that.

You have two options.

1.) Use the FriendlyUrls function inside of DNN

2.) Use something like UrlMaster from Ifinity to accomplish the goal!
