Hi Friends,

When the page postback it changes the Url from friendly name to tradition Url (Tabid =123). I am using friendly name for my pages in website. I have added respective rule in Friendly Url Setting also.

How can I retain the friendly page name even if the page postback?

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks,
Mahesh...

I don't think there is an easy answer.

Some $$$ modules will do already.

If you must have an answer, I would say create a fucntion to write all pages as static pages  to a virtual directory and change all urls to point to those static pages.

Hi Johnny,

I'm also looking for this one. My post is here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/246595/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Could you explain further on how to do this with your solution? Sorry but I'm new to DNN and ASP.NET.

Thanks in advance!

It's a bug in 4.8.4 (I introduced it fixing a security issue in 4.8.3, sorry), it's already been fixed for 4.8.5 (along with a few other rarer issues http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/RoadMap.aspx?PROJID=2 ). 4.8.5 is in testing at the minute, so it's probably only a week or so away from release.
