hi i have just installed dnn first time in my life first page is runnig and as i try to login with host account which is created by default for me it shows error.

I am using following login info for host account

username:host

password:host

can someone please tell me what is the default password for this host account

First, if you get an error, tell us what it is.  But the Host account if you followed the wizard is whatever password you entered in the wizard.  If not, the default password is right in front of you when you first open the site, read the content.

Often times the default password for host is dnnhost.  The default password for admin is dnnadmin.

You shouldn't be seeing an error, so that might have something to do with it as well.

by defult the user name is: host

and the password is: dnnhost

if you didnt change them, 100 percent it will work, if not you can install another dnn website.

There is another way to retrieve host account, but it requires some modification at database > tables > fields.
