Hi Jan

I'm getting this msg:

Es ist ein kritischer Fehler aufgetreten!
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Installation 402 Languages English/German.  de-AT is default language.

I get the error when I try to add a new question.  Any ideas?

Karl

The error message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Is far too generic to be solved with this little information. You must provide additional details to the exception. Like what module is causing it, etc?

You could try and drop the exception information from the log viewer here.

Hi Jan,

I see that it has something to do with the freetextbox and the languages - I don't have the error now anymore on this module.  I deleted, loaded again etc. etc. But from the archive I doug up this data.

Thanks

Hey Karl,

It seems that there's a problem with some of the resource files.

If dnn tries to load a string from a resource file that cannot be found, an exception will be thrown.

Thank you for the nice comment on the videos. There will be more coming up, but difficult to say when at the moment.
