When a registered user clicks on "Forgot Password" link in my application, there is an error message which says that "There was an error retrieving your password. No password was sent". However after entering the user name 3 or 4 times, it finally recognizes the user name and emails the password...Any idea why this is happening?

Check the DNN Event Viewer (under the Admin menu). Perhaps there's a better error message there that'll help track this down.

That was the first thing I did...It just said "password sent failure" and the name of the server...My guess is, we are running on a High Availability Network and something is causing this to fail... But i cannot seem to see what that error message is in the admin log (except for the message password sent failure). I will keep you all updated, if I find the solution.

I think I found the problem... It was the antivirus that was blocking my emails...I looked at the log files for the antivirus and it had this entry "Antivirus Maximum Protection:Protect cached files from password and email address stealers". Also when I looked at the Virus Scan Console, it increased the blocked count by 1. So I guess, the problem is with the antivirus blocking the emails and not with the application itself.
