As I posted in my DNN Blog today, I am launching a new personal Blog site - Thoughts from the Wet Coast.

While this new site is my personal site and will include some non-DNN content, I will be cross-posting most of my DNN Blogs on the new site.  In addition, as the site uses a modern blogging platform and I don't need to confirm to the restrictions imposed by this site (and the core Blog module), some of the DNN-related material on my new site will probably be "richer".

Examples of articles on my new site:

  • Hydrating your Business Objects - Part 1 and 2. (original posted on my DNN blog, but edited and brought up-to-date)
  • Updating config files using Xmlmerge
  • A series of articles describing the PropertyEditorControl (original posted on my old dnndevzone site, but edited and brought up-to-date)

So come on over - and check me out.

Or subscribe to my feed.

Charles - from an SEO perspective, cross-posting is not a good idea as I may get you into duplicate content trouble.

Charles, I would recommend setting up your RSS feed to only syndicate a description of the blog posts, not a full post, that way people have to click on your site to view the full content. It would make things cleaner on www.dotnetnukeblogs.com as well!
