I Installed 4.0.2 from the Visual Studio Template created with the starter kit.
Changed the two Database Connection settings in the web.config file.
I compiled, and got the installation page which ran without any errors. I verified in SQL server that the tables and stps were created, and they were.
The site opens up - http://localhost:1096/DNN BUT, all the modules have a big red triangle and error message "An error has occurred."

My Setup:
I am running on Server 2003
Have Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 installed. Of course using 2005 for DotNetNuke.
I am connecting to SQL server 2000. With the installation all tables and stored procs were created in the database specified in the web.config file.

I am sure I am close, but need some help with this. Do I need to install anything else. I would think the core models have been installed, so that can't be it.

Thank you.

just refresh the page.  the errors will go away and will not return.  it is an install bug only.

Thank you for the reply.

The problem is, I have compiled it a couple of times, refreshed the page numerous times and it is still giving me the error message.

Should I have to download modules and compile that with the code?

Thank you.
