Hello

I only wanted to know how advertising modules and containers work together. Say that I want to built a website that can handle a lot od ads, should a container be dedicated to handling the ads or what should I do? Are ads/banners implemented "outside" the containers?

I hope you understand my questions?

Greetings

Alex from Sweden

it really depends who supplies you the adverts/banners - if you use someone like www.cj.com then all you need to do is to use text.html on a particular location on the page and drop the HTML of their link.

If you have seperte arrangements with a vendor - you could use banner module in DNN and you do need to first declare the vendor and then add the banner to this vendor and apply the banner module or [BANER] skin token to your skin.

There are some good third party banner adverts module we have used in the past and you can see how we done them on one of our under development sites here www.properties.co.uk. Or just see how www.dotnetnuke .com has done it here.
