How do I pass the user name to another form after a user logs into my portal. I have a page that contains an IFrame that I want to pass the user name to.

I am using the latest version of dnn

any help would be appreciated

the text module allows for Placeholders now.  You could create a link in the textmodule that would pass the username to the page with the iframe on it.

OK, I added a text/html module to my login form. I created a link but can't figure out how to create the placeholder. can you tell me how do this?

You need to be running the latest version of the Text/HTML module.  If you are, you can go to module settings and specify that you want to use placeholders.  I can't remember the exact syntax off the top of my head but I believe if you click the ? context sensitive help it will tell you.  I it is something like [USERNAME].
