Hi all.

I hope someone can help me. I have been talking to the person who hosts an auction site for a game I play and he has provided me with a link that I can use on the XML module on my site. The XML will pull the latest 10 auctions and display them on my site. Here is the link he provided me with: http://www.gwauctions.org/last10.php5  Now when I put this is an a link as the XML data source and save all I get is a blank module.

Here is a link to a site so you can see what the output shoudl look like: http://guildwarsholland.nl/index/auctions.php

Can anyone advise me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

You need to write a custom XSL script that transforms the XML into  your desired output. There is no generator that does that job, it is up to you.

This might help you as example

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
  <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes" omit-xml-declaration ="yes"/>

  <xsl:template match="items">
    <table>
      <xsl:for-each select ="item">
        <tr>
          <td>
            Owner: <xsl:value-of select ="name"/><br/>
            Time Left: <xsl:value-of select ="timeleft"/>
          </td>
          <td>
            <a href="{link}">
              <img src="{image}"/></a>
            </td>
        </tr>

      </xsl:for-each>
    </table>
  </xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
