Hello Mates:

 

Ummm... Going ahead, choosing the automatic installation type I face the below error:

Installing DotNetNuke

Upgrade Error: ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider

 

 

 


Server Error in '/dnn' Application.

Could not find stored procedure 'amir.GetHostSettings'.

 

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Could not find stored procedure 'amir.GetHostSettings'.
by the way, that "amir" you see, is the user name of my db. what is you suggestion?

If not stated differently by your hosting provider, default value "dbo" for DatabaseOwner shall be kept, otherwise the database might become unusable. I suggest to clear everything and start from the scratch.
