Not Yet.  I was kind of hoping someone might take on the documentation.

However, it's very straight-foward.  If install the new Events module and create an instance on the same page as the old AVCalendar iinstance.  Then make sure the settings are the same (particularly the time increment).  Once the new Event Instance is setup...as an admin, you will have access to a menu option "Import AVCalendar:.  This will take you to a form were you can select an existing AVCalendar Instance (and optionally copy your Categories/Locations - this should only be done once for the Portal).  The rest is automatic.  You will have to re-setup your Master/Sub Calendars in the new Events Instances.  As a final note, make sure your Admin Account is set to the correct default "TimeZone" (the imported events will be setup w/this TimeZone).  Also set the Site Timezone to the default (this will be used for Anonymous users).

Let me see what I can do in the next few days.  I've got it downloaded and should have some time Tuesday and Wednesday nights to give this thing a run through.
