Hello, I am new to DNN. I am familiar with WSS. I want to invoke SSL for DNN using IIS settings as we do for WSS. For example, I setup a certificate for the default website. My DNN code is now sitting in a folder under default website. How do I set DNN to use IIS setting? Thank you in advance.

You don't.  IIS handles SSL.  You set the folder to require secure logins and then SSL is required.  See www.iis.net if you need help with this.

Can you elaborate? I know how to do on IIS side & I have no problems with any non-DNN sites. What is to be done for DNN sites to enable both HTTP as well as HTTPS? Someone suggested to check "secured" for every page in DNN. I am getting popups indicating "..you are redicted to a connection that is not secured...".  Is there a way to enable DNN to use IIS settings for HTTP, HTTPS, Host headers, etc?

And once you got IIS figured out, you may learn more about DNN SSL here and here.

This sounds like you didn't set SSL on for DNN.  You check secured for pages you want to use SSL, the others don't use it.  Check John Mitchell's post on this:
