I have been struggling with the House menu to create a menu for a particularly unfriendly design. I need to show the children of one particular parent page in its own menu across all pages of the site. The House menu is great for this since I can show the children of one tab ID in an instance of the menu. The problem I have is in the design. The menu must span the width of the content area with an equal space on either side of the menu text and must fill the width.  I have been going crazy to get this design to work precisely in all browsers and keep going back to adjust the numbers. The math just doesn't work out with an unordered list and a table would be the best way to go. It seems like I cannot use the Solpart menu since I can't specify that the menu will just show the children of the same parent page no matter what page you are on. Am I right, or is there a way to do this with the Solpart menu? Does anyone have any ideas or know of another menu I can try?

Depending on whether you are looking for this is a SkinObject or a module, there are several options out there that you can take a look at.  Amongst others, take a look at Snapsis CSSNavMenu, the DNN360 Menus, TheDNNMenu, Telerik RadControls (skinobject only), or SW.Menu (can't be used as a skinobject, but pretty versatile in what items it includes, etc).  We've tried using the Snapsis one, DNN360, TheDNN (trial), SolPart, and SW.Menu all internally and we settled on a combination of the menus for our needs using Snapsis for toplevel tabbed navigation, SW.Menu for internal menus, and then Telerik RadControls PanelBar for side menus.  We were not pleased at all with DNN360 and were not swayed by TheDNN.

Good luck!

Here is a screen shot. As you can see, in the rollover state on either end the numbers don't work out so that the dark grey covers all the light grey at the ends. Also, I keep having to adjust the numbers between PC and Mac and per browser. A table would be best here.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I will check them out. I knew there had to be better options.
