Hello,

My company is developing modules for DNN and we are having the following problem.

In the View page of every module if you add a linkbutton/button, in order for the "Onclick" event to work a user with Edit rights (on the module) must click it.

I want to know how can you have a button at the View page of a module that any user can use.

Anyone had the same problem..?

Thanks in advanced

If I understand your problem correctly, the failure to fire button events is most likely due to the Cache Time having been set to a non-zero value on the module settings page. DNN's output cacheing interfers with asp.net postbacks. So, try resetting the Cache Time to 0 then check if the problem has been solved.
